US $ is off a bit today. Looks like the market is (was) due for a ?dead cat bounce?. Corn/ wheats are off .30+ in the last 5 trading days. Wheat futures started the day higher, but have come down .09 off the highs (now ?3 on the day). Corn started the up 7 but have given up all but a penny. Yesterdays crop reports were not price friendly. We have 100% of the corn planted (on 6/30 we will have an idea of how many acres that is). 95% of the corn is emerged vs. a 5 year avg of 98%. The crop is rated 70% G-Ex vs. last years 57%. Winter wheat is rated unch?d at 47% G-Ex?same as last year. Winter wheat harvest is 9% complete vs. 19% on a 5 year avg.

South Korea booked 10.8 myn bu more US corn last night. Since last Thursday night they have booked 27 myn bu?Thursday?s export sales report should show very strong sales. Monday?s inspection report showed a very strong 26.5 myn bu of wheat shipped and solid 38.4 myn bu of corn. India announced they plan to export 300,000 mt of beans in the next 3 months.
