Sorry for the delay this morning, we had an early morning marketing meeting. Export Sales report showed pretty puny numbers for Corn: traders had hoped for 31-39 myn bu, but weekly tally was only 18.7 myn bu. We did notch another good week for wheat. Traders were hoping for 14-22 myn bu, and weekly tally was 16.7 myn bu: 2.5 myn bu DNS, 11 HRW, 1.5 SRW and only .4 myn SWW. Overnight Japan booked .4 US DNS, .4 US HRW, and .9 Canadian, .9 Aussie. Turkey and Jordan remain in tendering for about 3.6 myn bu each. We will also see Iraq come back in, probably looking for HRW. Corn futures punctured overhead resistance yesterday, before suffering a set back early this morning. Weather man says that cool temps will remain, but it should dry out and allow some field work later this week. It is interesting and should be noted that any potential "shortage" would not actually happen till next summer at the earliest.

Argie exports are now being held up by Gov’t red tape. Wheat shipment may not resume for another week or so at least. Atlantic Ocean freight rates jumped right back in to line last week after the Argie "Strike" was temporarily suspended while talks continued.
